Here are the List of the Top 12 Best Places to visit in Coron, Palawan
1. Kayangan Lake, Coron Palawan
Your trip will not be complete without visiting this lake, as everyone will rate it as the main attraction and by far the most popular tourist destination, making it a must-visit in Coron. This beautiful lake has crystal-clear water and is one of the cleanest lakes in the Philippines, with a picture-perfect view at the top of the lake. Please note that you will hike a few steps before reaching the top and going down to the other side of the lake for swimming and sightseeing. Is it just me? But I really appreciate the wood bridge, it adds uniqueness and diversity to the area.
2. Be mesmerized with Malcapuya Island
By far the most beautiful beach island I have been to so far, it is one of the most well-kept secrets/hidden gems of Coron. Handsdown down, this island is highly recommended. The beach is wonderful, with powdery white sand and pristine water. It is comparable to Boracay, and since it is a secluded island, it is not crowded, so you will mostly enjoy and feel relaxed with the view. It is 1.5 to 2 hours away from coron, nevertheless, you will not regret visiting this island for sure. In tagalog it is not “Paasa” like in your lovelife life, because this place is worthy of patiently waiting. (Coron Island Escapade Day Tour (29 USD)
3. Wandered in Twin lagoon
Undoubtedly, one of the most popular tourist spots in Coron, this lagoon is made up of two bodies of water separated by exquisite limestone cliffs and has one of the most outstanding geological features, with a breathtaking landscape and a unique and diverse natural beauty. I wish I had stayed here longer during our tour. This is the perfect spot for someone who loves kayaking and exploring. It is best to explore using Kayak -Coron Super Ultimate Day Tour-around 29 USD.
4. Take a dip in Barracuda Lake
Are you a diving enthusiast? Then, this place is a great spot for you. Named after a giant barracuda lake fish whose skeleton was discovered in the depth of the lake. This lake has a natural wonder that is famous for its layers of cold, warm & hot water as well as the rock formation in the bottom & side of the lake. Coron Island Escapade Day Tour
5. Explore Black Island in Busuanga
Indeed, it is one of the most beautiful islands in Busuanga, Palawan, and probably one of the highlights of my travel experience Coron Palawan. From afar, you will be mesmerized by the distinct features & landscape of the island, especially the Rocky Mountains with their white beaches and crystal clear water. Moreover, you can also explore caves on this island. It was recommended to book a tour in Klook which I did (Coron Calauit Safari & Beach Tour).
6. Island Hopping in Ditaytayan Island
If you are looking for a sandbar in Coron, then, this island should be part of your trip. Ditaytayan is a small sandbar with powdery sand and crystal-clear water. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Coron and one of the most picturesque spots as well.
7. Island Hopping in Bulog Dos Island
One of the unique and diverse marine areas to visit is in Bulog Dos Island. It is included as the most beautiful island in Coron with snorkeling being the most popular activity on the island. Enjoy sightseeing on the pink & blue coral reefs around this area. The water is so clear that you can see the ocean floor even from the boat. Additional information: it is very close to a two-seasons island resort, which is a private island.
8. Snorkling in Siete Picados
If you’re a diver, I bet this place should be one of your bucket list to visit. It is one of the most popular snorkeling spot in Coron and the nearest snorkeling area to Coron Town. You will enjoy viewing of coral reefs and other aqua marine animal. It is best to wear aqua shoes for safety purposes.

10. Take a day trip to Calauit Safari in Busuanga
Enjoy a nice morning safari tour around Calauit Game Refuge and Wildlife Sanctuary. Adore Feeding with African Giraffes and see for yourself the zebras, brown deer and more. 11. Take a quick dip in Maquinit Hotspring
If you want to relax after a tiring day full of island hopping and swimming, then, don’t forget to visit this place. This spring is one of the few saltwater hot springs in the world. For limited days, you can do it upon arriving in Coron as part of halfday tour, but if you have more days in Coron, you can also schedule it in the last day if you have a free day to relax before the day of departure. Similar with Mt. Tapyas, this activity can be done DIY. But since it is a little bit far away it is suggested to book a halfday tour coron town tour inclusive of Mt Tapyas and town tour, otherwise you rent a motorcycle or tricycle to take you there.
12. Hike in Mt. Tapyas and enjoy the Picturesque View of Coron
Climb and take a 700-step trek to reach the top of the mountain, where you will enjoy the stunning & panoramic view of Coron. The trail is relatively easy, and for sure, you will not regret it once you reach the summit. It is best to experience it during sunset, so make sure to plan your trekking in the afternoon before the sun goes down. You have the option to do DIY or book a Coron town half-day tour (around 15 USD). Most tourists stay in Coron Town Proper, which is a few steps away from the starting trail of Mt.
