From Manila, take a flight going to Cagayan De Oro (CDO) Laguindingan Airport. You can check available flights on airlines like cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines.

Note: Dahilayan Adventure Park is 85 km away from the Laguindingan Airport and takes about 2 hours journey.

For DIY: From Laguindingan Airport, take a bus, van or taxi. If you choose the bus option, initially take the airport shuttle bus to the national highway, which costs around 30–40 pesos. From the highway, wait and catch for a bus on the road bound to Bukidnon. Otherwise, you can go first at the CDO Bus Terminal to secure your seat, then take a Rural Bus bound for Valencia at Agora.

Once you reach the Agora Bus terminal, get off at Alae Manolo Fortich then take a motorcycle ride (habal-habal) going to Dahilayan.

In our case, we have a couple friends based in Cagayan De Oro who fetch us in the airport and then join us in our tour in Tinago Falss of Iligan and Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon.

My Experience

During my 2023 vacation in the Philippines in the month of April, I had the chance to experience Asia’s longest dual Zipline in Dahilyan Adventure Park, Bukidnon. From Laguindingan Airport in CDO, our journey starts with Tinago Falls in the morning, and after that, Dahilayan Forest Park in the afternoon. It took us almost 3 hours and a half drive from Iligan to Dahilayan. On the road, we were able to see the beautiful Pineapple plantation in Del Monte, Bukidnon. As we come closer to Dahilayan, we feel more comfortable as the weather starts to become colder. By the way, Bukidnon is mostly mountainside; hence, our experience is like travelling in Tagaytay or Baguio. Truly, Bukidnon is rich with natural resources.

Dahilayan Forest Park

Upon arrival in Dahilayan, we enter first the Forest Park and pay 50 pesos for entrance. Unfortunately, we are not aware that there are two entrances. So, please take note of that, Adventure Park & Forest Park are both part of Dahilayan but with different entrances and fees. Forest Park is more on family bonding with light or minor rides, while Adventure Park is more on thrills and excitement. Subsequently, I suggest if your target is Zipline and other extreme rides, go directly to Adventure Park, which is the first entrance you will see once you arrive in Dahilayan.

By the way, we book directly on site for our Zipline ride as well as razorback. After paying at the counter, we ride the car service, which brings us to the top side and starting point of the Zipline. Since it is a dual Zipline, two people are allowed at a time. Fortunately, I was at the last line, and requested my friends ride solo to capture the view using my insta 360 camera. The ride took almost 3 minutes and was smooth. The view of the forest is magnificent, with many pine trees. I really love the ambience. Overall, the experience is amazing and fulfilling. I will gladly do it again when I visit Dahilayan soon.
