My Experience
During my stay in Riyadh in 2023, I got the chance to visit Al Hair Lake Park before we returned to Jubail. It was short, but worthwhile. We visited this park early in the morning to have a picnic. I am not sure what this place has to offer during that time, but our friend in Riyadh insists on visiting this place for us to relax and have sunrise viewing. I was not expecting anything, especially in this place, but to my surprise, the place was actually excellent. The park is big, and the ambience is calming and relaxing. We drive through the hillside, where we have the best view of the sunrise. It was one of the best sunrises I have seen yet in Saudi Arabia, after the Edge of the World. So, I was glad that we visited early in the morning.
After that, we go down and roam around the park. We park near the lake and have a close look of it. The moment we come closer, we notice people feeding catfish, mostly Filipino families. It was amazing to see many catfish in the lake, and they are big too. I believe it is not allowed to go fishing in the lake. The waterfalls here is somehow looks like Niagra Falls, but a small version. Overall, our visit to Al-Hair Lake Park was great and fulfilling. So, if you are in Riyadh, never miss visiting this amazing park.
