Option 1: DIY: Drive using your personal car and enjoy the ride in countryside. Otherwise, use the public transportation by booking a taxi directly going to Diamond Glass Bridge. I don’t recommend though booking a taxi, because it might be expensive and finding one might be difficult also since it’s on mountain side.

Option 2: Rent a Car in Tbilisi, Georgia. The vehicle rental is around 20 USD per day for economy class. This option is great if you are planning to explore many places in Georgia and would like to travel at your own pace and time. This is also an excellent option for a group, just ensure that at least one or two of you have a driver’s license that is accredited in Georgia. Use Google Maps for route guides.

My Experience

Diamond Glass Bridge in Tsalka Dashbashi Canyon

As someone who likes to see unique places and try extreme activities, I definitely did not miss this place to include on my itinerary. Ever since I was planning my tour in Georgia, I have been looking forward to visiting Dashbashi Canyon. Subsequently, it did not disappoint me, it is everything I hope for. The weather is very pleasant. The view in the Dashbashi Canyon is impeccable, and my experience walking on the diamond glass bridge is thrilling and adventurous. Though, I felt terrified at first, as soon as I take full control of my body and mind, everything becomes smooth. The diamond glass in the center offers a serene and panoramic 360-degree view of the whole canyon. It was amazing. On top of that, my bicycle zip line ride is a one-of-a-kind extreme activity experience that I will never forget. Though, it poses challenges on my side since I have a little fear of height, at the end I was able to overcome it; over all, it is a fulfilling ride. To be honest, comparing paragliding and bicycle zip lines, this ride is scarier for me since I am on my own, driving in the skyline. Unlike paragliding in Gudauri, it is tandem, and I have a professional pilot on my side. Anyhow, I am glad I did this, as it teaches me how to fight my fears, trust my own capabilities, and lastly, become more independent.
